SOCIAL PROGRAMS

Provides short-term counselling, crisis intervention and health care support. The program offers support and referral to housing, legal, medical and social services. It provides access to health education, interpretation services as needed and access to non-insured health benefits.


Inuit Women's Healing Circle

The weekly Healing Circle will be held every Monday at 5:30PM. The Healing Circle will be held at 297 Savard Ave. The circle provides a safe and healing environment for women to share and support eachother. Inuit country food is provided and support with childcare and bus tickets are available to those attending the circle. For more information please contact Hannah Oolayou, 613-749-4500

•Food donations from the Ottawa Food Bank provided weekly supplies of food to community members in need. The food bank is available to the community each Wednesday from 1:30 - 4:30. For further information about the foodbank please contact Mosha at 613-749-4500 on Wednesday's & Thursdays.

•Annual referrals made for families and individuals to received Christmas hampers, food vouchers and gifts.
